Our Current Leadership
The 21st Century Child Development and Learning Center was founded by the Wheeler family with a clear purpose: to usher a safe, nurturing place where all children can learn, grow, and be supported. That vision continues to guide our center today.
Although two of the founders, Theodore Wheeler Jr. and Theodore “Teddy” Wheeler III, have passed on, the values they established remain the heart of this center. Their dedication to children, families, and community service lives on through the work we continue each day.
We also acknowledge Darryl Wheeler Sr. and Angela Wheeler Hayes, who stepped in to help carry forward their family’s mission. Their ongoing commitment keeps the original purpose and spirit of 21st Century Child Development and Learning Center strong.
One of the original founders who continues to stand in the gap for this great vision is Diciree Wheeler. Her grace, strength, and unwavering support for the community does not go unnoticed.
